Photograph credits and source links identify the material used; a representative species photograph does not establish that it was taken at the guide's destination.
Recommendations must reflect available evidence. The journal must not invent personal product testing, trips, professional credentials, catches, customer reviews or conservation outcomes. Reader usefulness, factual accuracy and safe, lawful fishing take priority over a commercial opportunity.

Image credits identify the creator or collection, source and recorded license or permission. Public-domain material and Creative Commons material have different reuse conditions; follow the exact linked license, including attribution, notices of changes and any applicable ShareAlike terms. The owner's personal collection is used with permission for this website and is not offered as public-domain or openly licensed photography.
A source credit or a person appearing in a photograph does not establish sponsorship or a product endorsement. Do not infer a catch location, date or identity from a filename. Captions and article descriptions should be corrected when an image changes.
Planned commercial disclosures
If a purchase or booking link can earn the journal a commission, that relationship must be explained clearly near the recommendation, before a reader needs to act on it. A general page alone is not the entire disclosure. Paid placements, sponsorships and free or loaned products must also be identified where relevant. Program-specific wording will be added only when the actual program and agreement are confirmed.

Before monetization
The operator must confirm program approval, correct tracking identifiers, suitable disclosures and any required privacy or consent controls before commercial links or ad scripts are enabled. The site now uses the free National Weather Service API for supported U.S. forecasts, NOAA tide predictions, and ordinary outbound links to other forecast and warning services. Any future embedded or paid weather service requires a fresh review of commercial-use rights before activation. No claim of likely earnings or guaranteed approval is made.
