Rule updates for this region

Upcoming changeSlovenia — Tolmin Fishing Club Soča Lake district; specified sections only

Tolmin: Soča Lake spawning sections close 2–30 November

Grayling and marble trout spawning protection; all fishing in the specified sections · Effective 2026-11-02 · Checked 2026-10-21

Tolmin Fishing Club’s current rules prohibit fishing from 2 through 30 November in two Soča Lake sections: the Tolminka–Soča confluence to Vodivček Bay below the club hatchery, and Postaja bridge to the Idrijca–Bača confluence. The wider lake district has a separate season through 30 November, so that date does not authorize fishing in the closed sections. Confirm the precise zone map and dated permit before a November trip. This is an existing seasonal rule approaching its annual start, not a newly announced emergency closure; it adds precise dates to the Central Europe guide’s existing zone warning.

These notices cover the changes listed, not every rule for the region. Check the linked authority before fishing.
